Fairfax, VA – Today, Virginia State Senator Jennifer Boysko (D-38) announced her endorsement of Ilryong Moon for Braddock District Supervisor, praising his decades-long commitment to Fairfax County and his record of community leadership.
“I have known Ilryong since 2008 when I started my career in public service in Fairfax County as an aide to Supervisor John Foust,” said Senator Boysko. “Over the years, I have seen the profound commitment he has toward public service, Fairfax County, and his local community. He is intelligent, humble, hard working, and a team player.
His life and public service embody the ideals of the American Dream. I am proud to call him my friend and know that as the next Braddock Supervisor he will represent the best interests of working families through his support of affordability, education, and government efficiency.”
Senator Boysko’s endorsement adds to the growing list of Fairfax County leaders backing Moon’s campaign, including current At-Large School Board Member Ryan McElveen, Mount Vernon District Member Mateo Dunne, and Mason District School Board Member Dr. Ricardy Anderson.
Ilryong Moon, a longtime Fairfax County School Board member and community leader, welcomed the endorsement from Senator Boysko, saying it reflects a shared commitment to building a stronger, more affordable, and inclusive Fairfax County.
